Creating Your Account

Registration

To create a Storehouses account:
1

Navigate to Registration

Go to storehouses.app/register

Enter Your Information

Provide:
  • Email address - Used for login and important notifications
  • Password - Must be secure (minimum 8 characters recommended)

Submit

Click “Create Account” to complete registration
Storehouses is privacy-first. We don’t require identity verification, phone numbers, or personal information beyond your email.

Email Verification

After registration, you’ll receive a verification email:
  1. Check your inbox for an email from Storehouses
  2. Click the verification link
  3. You’ll be redirected to your dashboard
If you don’t see the email within a few minutes, check your spam folder. You can request a new verification email from the login page.

Account Settings

Access your account settings at storehouses.app/account.

Profile Information

Update your basic account information:
  • Email address - Change your login email (requires verification)
  • Display name - Optional display name for your account
  • Profile picture - Upload an avatar (optional)

Password & Security

To update your password:
  1. Go to Account Settings
  2. Click “Change Password”
  3. Enter your current password
  4. Enter and confirm your new password
  5. Click “Update Password”
Choose a strong, unique password. Consider using a password manager.
If you’ve forgotten your password:
  1. Visit storehouses.app/forgot-password
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Check your email for a reset link
  4. Follow the link and create a new password

Email Preferences

Control which emails you receive:
  • Portfolio updates - Weekly/monthly portfolio summaries
  • Price alerts - Notifications when alert conditions are met
  • Heir access notifications - Updates on heir access requests
  • Marketing emails - Product updates and tips (opt-in)

The free plan includes:
  • Up to 50 items
  • Basic portfolio tracking

Pro Plan

Upgrade to Pro for:
  • Unlimited items and collections

  • Heir access emergency system
  • Advanced exports including PDF reports
  • Portfolio sharing with secure links

Privacy & Data

What We Collect

Storehouses collects minimal data:
  • Email address (for login)
  • Portfolio data (items, collections, locations)
  • Usage analytics (anonymized)

What We Don’t Do

  • ❌ No identity verification required
  • ❌ No phone number collection
  • ❌ No data selling to third parties
  • ❌ No tracking across other websites

Data Export

You can export all your data at any time:
  1. Go to the Export page
  2. Select “Full Portfolio Export”
  3. Download your data in CSV or PDF format
Regular exports are a good backup practice to keep your own copy of your portfolio data.

Account Deletion

To delete your account:
  1. Go to Account Settings
  2. Scroll to “Danger Zone”
  3. Click “Delete Account”
  4. Confirm deletion
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your items, collections, and data will be permanently deleted.

Install Storehouses as an app on any device: Mobile (iOS/Android)
  • Open in Safari (iOS) or Chrome (Android)
  • Use “Add to Home Screen” or “Install App”
  • Access like a native app with offline support
Desktop (Windows/Mac/Linux)
  • Visit in Chrome, Edge, or Safari
  • Click the install icon in the address bar
  • Launch from your applications
